Hello!
I'm Daniel Barbosa, I'm a illustrator and concept art designer. I've been fascinated by drawing and sketching since I was 6. From then on I've been tinkering with and diving head first into every artwork piece I could get my hands on.
My Story
I was born in Chiapas, Mexico, and spent part of my childhood and early teenage life in Mexico City, I moved to Houston, Texas in 2014 where I still reside to this day. I have always had a creative side since I was little, one of the crafts with which I began to develop my creative mind was clay, then I moved on to pencil drawing and finally to completely colorful drawing. As I grew up and developed my creative side as a hobby, I also became inspired by the animated movies I used to watch, especially 3D animated movies, like Pixar Animation Studios.

After graduating from high school, I still hadn't decided exactly what to study. At first, I tried civil engineering but I realized that I didn't feel as comfortable as I expected, that's when I decided to try to study animation, I sign up for a 3D Animation class at Lone Star College-Kingwood, where I learned to use various animation software, as well as the steps for pre-production in animation. Although at first the subject focused solely on 3D animation, I felt that my most comfortable place would be in making sketches and artistic concepts for projects. Even so, I continue learning to use new techniques in software like 3ds Max and Maya, and in May 2022 I graduated with a degree in visual communication - 3D animation.

Now, I am currently still working hard and discovering new techniques of artistic conception and developing my skills that allow me to carry out any work or project that I am willing to undertake. In addition to working on projects for clients, I also do personal projects to continue showing my creative side.
